The Folly appears to be a real structure, not just a stage prop. It also appears to be unfinished, or one side of it has been destroyed or dismantled at some time. It is possibly also part of a much larger structure like a castle. I have limited knowledge of historical buildings in the UK, but to my eyes the structure looks typical of the ones found in Cornwall. However it may be a 'mock' folly, actually fairly modern but designed to look like a ruin. I am sure someone must recognize this building. It is most likely an historical site or found on an estate.
edit: On closer inspection of the photos, it does not look to be dismantled or destroyed on one side. It looks similar to photos I've found of "folly houses", which are basically like square cottages with a small tower attached to one side. It looks to be in quite a windswept area with lots of stunted trees with few leaves - (so possibly filmed in late autumn/winter?).

Is there any chance that you could put up a pic of the Folly on the site. I used to work in Exeter, Devon a lot and spent weekends visiting the area. There are some wonderful abandoned folly's around. I particularly remember a triangular one and a screen-cap would help with the identification .
